"What a Wonderful World" you will discover during an entertaining and educational weekend in the French Quarter honoring New Orleans' native son, Louis "Satchmo" Armstrong. The Satchmo - inspired program includes musical performances on three stages and authentic New Orleans food at the U.S. Mint. Satchmo SummerFest also features a children's stage and nationally renowned speaker seminars in Dutch Alley at the French Market, just steps from the U.S. Mint.

The events start at 11:00am and end at 7:00pm. If you are still feeling hungry, many of the French Quarter restaurants are offering special Sizzlin' Satchmo dinners.
